I'm currently living in an apartment that provides free wifi to it's occupants. However, we are all given an account to log in to and one account only allows one device to connect at anytime.

I would like to know if it's possible for me to do the following:

Connect to the wifi via a windows 7 pc (a) and log in to the wireless network. Connecting a wireless router via ethernet cable to the pc (a) and sharing the network that way.

Your help is much appreciated.

Yes, it's possible.

Set up ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) in the PC.

Use the router only as an access point. Disable its DHCP server. Do not use its Internet/WAN port for anything. Connect one of its LAN ports to the PC's wired port.

Do not attempt to use any kind of bridging in the PC, it will not work.
