Sorry for the somewhat confusing title, and my lacking English. Now we have that out of the way my question:

I have httpd - Apache/2.2.15 on a CentOs virtual machine. This is running Seccubus, with MySQL - 5.1.67

Remote client are allowed to connect, and I can use its interface, but when I try to use one of the perl scripts example:

seccubus/seccubus/json/createWorkspace.pl name=testing&scanCount=0&findCount=0&lastScan=null

This result in a HTTP 500 error, when I look in the logs:

(13)Permission denied: exec of '/opt/seccubus/www/seccubus/json/getWorkspaces.pl' failed, referer:
Premature end of script headers: getWorkspaces.pl, referer:

When I try to use these perl scripts on the CentOS I get this:

[root json]# perl createWorkspace.pl name=testing2&scanCount=0&findCount=0&lastScan=null
[root json]# Content-Type: application/json; charset=ISO-8859-1

[
   {
      "name" : "testing2",
      "id" : "2",
      "scanCount" : 0,
      "findCount" : 0
   }
]

And it adds the content to the MySQL database. So that does work, but the file permissions over the perl scripts are 777..

Fixed by disabling SELinux, this is solved. – Martijn Boers Feb 4 '13 at 13:54
