I'm having problems with slow network transfers in Windows XP Mode. In the XP VM, I connect to a customer using VPN and all of that works fine. However, when I copy a file from my host computer and paste it into the remote computer, the network transfer is always very slow. I get around 100 kB/s but I should get at least 500 kB/s.

This happens when I use Shared Networking (NAT) as the NIC for the VM. When I set it to the actual NIC I use, the speeds are up again! However, this is tedious to change, e.g. sometimes I use wireless and sometimes just Ethernet.

Any ideas on how to get the Shared Networking (NAT) speeds up?
