I have Outlook 2007 on Win7 at work. I set up some of my folders to autoarchive to specific archive folders, and it worked. For awhile. Now it has quit working. If I chooser Archive, and select "Archive all folders according to their AutoArchive settings" it won't archive anything. If I go with the default, it archives everything, to the default folder (most definitely NOT what I want, since I don't want all folders to archive). What is the likely reason for this failure?
Here is how I have set up folders to archive: on folder properties, choose the AutoArchive tab, select "Archive this folder using these settings" with a 3 weeks cleanout, to a specified pst file (C:\Users\my.name\Documents\Archives\General-2013.pst)
Oh. I bet this worked when I had the archive files in the default location of C:\Users\my.name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\General-2013.pst. Would moving the archive folders make autoarchive quit working?
