I'd like to use the gmate plugin for gedit but Karmic seems to have a problem with python-webkitgtk. I am not certain but it looks like it is now renamed to python-webkit.

How can I get a plugin dependent on python-webkitgtk to work?

Did you try to install Python packages from add/remove programs? And could you please specify which parts of gmate don't work? I set up it with errors but it seems working. – buba Oct 23 '09 at 22:23
