There's a remote Linux server I connect to over ssh, which has an OpenGL program I wrote. I'm working from home on Windows connected to the Linux server remotely via SSH.

I want to display the graphical window which should open when I run the program on my home monitor. I tried using X11 forwarding and it seems to work for other stuff, like I can open Firefox and gedit, but when I run the Opengl cpp program, I get "Segmentation fault". When I try to run the program, a window quickly opens and closes and the error shows on the command line.

How can I fix this?

What is the error? – Sudipta Chatterjee Feb 10 '13 at 5:18
Have you run it with gdb to find out where the error is? – parkydr Feb 10 '13 at 17:17
