Any version of Excel, in Windows 7. if I import a string such as 90003/6+3AQx-z it imports as
I would love to substitute characters to simplfy this, but they are product ids I didn't create
I understand there is an issue with excel knowing how to interpret this string , but how can I make it just treat this as a literal string. I have tried wrapping it with single quotes, double quotes, and any number of things.
There may be a setting somewhere that may resolve this in windows or excel because I checked on another machine and do not have this issue there.
Figured out this is works if the text imported to excel is utf-8 encoded, but is there a simple way to force a SQL query to export that way?
