WinDirStat and equivalent programs will scan a disk or directory, and produce a graphical report of what's using the disk space (Screenshot).

Is there any equivalent program which can run on the command-line and generate an HTML report?

I am sure there are other programs like WinDirStat that don't have a graphic user-interface and can generate an html report. If your asking for some examples of those programs that question wouldn't be on topic. – Ramhound Feb 20 '13 at 12:12

Directory Report can run from the command line and generate an HTML report

Can you include an example of the output? Just providing a link as an answer is discouraged on the stackexchange websites. – slm Feb 25 '13 at 20:43
Sample reports can be downloaded at: – user235585 Feb 26 '13 at 13:17
Perhaps you should also disclose that you plug your own software here - which unlike WinDirStat doesn't come free of charge. – 0xC0000022L Feb 26 '13 at 22:36
