Possible Duplicate:
What's the best Remote Desktop Application?

working remotely.

looking for something cheaper than GoToMeeting. ($50/month)

I like the features where users can remotely access keyboard and mouse functionality. I do not need to phone services.

currently price is more important than ease of use. but down the line ease of use may be more important.

You may want to look into LogMeIn. Their basic service is free, and it might meet your needs for remote control. If you want to use it primarily between two people (eg pair programming, or help-desk type activities), it is probably perfect. If you want to use it for presentations, it might not really be right for you.

If you just need remote access, look at Microsoft Live Mesh. I use that instead of VPN to remote control my work computer.

You may want to consider GotoAssist (http://blog.gotoassist.com/pricing/). It is about $48.3/month GoSupportNow (http://www.gosupportnow.com/) is also very good. It is 19.95/month.

You can just use any free VNC software, like TightVNC. I'ts multiplatform, free and works quite well.

I use it a lot in hone as well as at work.
