I am successfully using PuTTY to connect a Linux server. I just installed WinSCP and it too can connect to the server however if the PuTTY session is connected and I attempt to connect with WinSCP the connection times out. I disconnect PuTTY and I can connect with WinSCP.
I don't think it's the server because I can connect SecureCRT and SecureFX simutaneously.
Is there a setting in PuTTY and/or WinSCP I must change? The current settings for both is the defaults plus the IP info, very generic.
Additional info, I must first connect to a 'jump/proxy' server (vShell) before I can connect to the Linux server (security requirement).
