YouTube says this when explaining what a 'Guru' account is:

Advantages include being able to create a custom logo, genre, and links to your other >websites from your Profile.

What does it mean by custom logo and how do I go about uploading my own custom logo?

Actually, I think that that feature is only available to YouTube partners. I did a little looking around in the YouTube Help and I that's what I found.

You can browse all Guru accounts to see that. Some Gurus seem to be partners as well though...
