Hi I don't have an answer to your question (sorry) but where is the ACPI Config coming from? Some command? Thanks! – kalaracey Mar 15 '13 at 2:58

http://askubuntu.com/questions/267934/i-have-compiled-the-3-8-2-kernel-and-the-fan-doesnt-stop-after-resume-from-susp/267991#267991

Disabling and enabling modules I figured out that the problem was being caused by ACPI -> FAN
