I am new to macro and would be grateful if anyone can give me idea on this.
Users want to have a Word document with links. Each link is to open a folder by Window Explorer. I think I can create a macro button for each link. But it would be hardcoded so that users cannot update the document themselves.
For example, user want to link the text called "Folder1" to open "Folder1" in Windows Explorer. User can highlight the text, click the button with input for users to input "Folder1" . Then the macro button on "Folder1" is created. When user open the document next time, he can click the "Folder1" macrobutton to open "Folder1" in Windows Explorer.
How can I create a macro on the tool bar, so that user can input their desired link to the folder?
