To fix this:

Just what request are you installing through apt-get? And what does works mean in this case? –  George Stocker Mar 19 '13 at 12:29

when i am trying to install the package request in cent os, 'yum install request' is not installing the package. "Deprecation Error" occurs –  Mathi Mar 20 '13 at 4:25

You need to install pip first and then install django-request using pip. –  arulmr Mar 20 '13 at 4:34
