These are the must have Firefox plugins for a pleasant internet surfing experience.

Noscript I consider absolutely necessary, and nowadays it seems to block most ads as well, so I haven't bothered with Adblock much. Also, It's All Text is very handy for writing things like this because I can use Emacs instead of whatever (usually crappy) editor the browser or website provides.

From the list of extensions I always install on machine I'm working on :
