I'm more of a software developer than a networking guy so I'm a bit confused. Ultimately what I would like to do is to send all http traffic to a proxy server running on my raspberry pi that would then send the data to an ICAP server also running on the pi. This will then transform pages as needed.
So I downloaded and installed squid and greasyspoon and have them both successfully installed on my raspberry pi. I have squid configured to use greasyspoon as the ICAP server. But here comes the confusing part. I want my dd-wrt wireless router to route everything connected to it to my proxy server. So I followed this tutorial: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Squid_Transparent_Proxy
I saved the modified script to my firewall, but nothing seems to happen. Squid's access log shows nothing. So I'm sure it's not even getting to squid. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
