I have an excel that stores multiple values in a single cell, separated by commas. I'd like to be able to pivot on each of those specific values. Is there a way to do this?

I'm afraid the only way to do this is to split the cell's content into multiple cells. –  Peter Albert Mar 27 '13 at 21:40

I found another way, though I will have to use multiple pivot tables. I can make the field with the multiple values as the report filter and then do a search for each specific term. It's ugly, but it works. –  Cameron Kremer Mar 27 '13 at 21:44

hard to imagine your solution, given that the purpose is not clear from your question - but as long as it works, good for you. If you don't mind, consider adding your own answer below, so others can benefit from your solution, too! –  Peter Albert Mar 27 '13 at 22:03
