I'm still fairly new to Git. Although I have technically used it for almost a year, most of it was with someone else standing there telling what to type. I used Titanium before to upload and download through Git commands, but I only really thought of Git as a commandline FTP program. I only found out this week that you can use the commit function to your own local repos as kind of a versioning system.
I just installed GitHub at home and was playing around with it for a few days. I am trying to figure out how to sync Git to the FTP folder that N++ produces when you use it to FTP to files on your website.
Is there a way to commit your changes at certain intervals automatically or do you have to go in and manually commit every once in a while?
