Google Reader is going to die and I am trying to be adapted to newsfox, what annoys me is that sometimes when I add a new feed it tells me that

'xxx' already reads this feed.

Actually I did subscribed the feed into Google Reader and imported into newsfox, but newsfox didn't has an item for the feed in any groups, hence there is no update for those feeds; but this message above tells me that I even cannot re-add the feed url!

What's more, newsfox fails to scrawl some feeds like below(whereas Google Reader can):

http://nvd.nist.gov/download/nvd-rss.xml
http://nvd.nist.gov/download/nvd-rss-analyzed.xml

Has anybody else ever come across this before?

Both these feeds are working fine for me with NewsFox.

As for the first problem, see if the feed exists in FEEDS group.
