I have been using this software

ToddlerKeys

As a screensaver for my home pc to keep the toddlers and other kids busy and happy. Looking at it inspried me to think of several things that I would consider enhancements/features that would help with making the pc more friendly for the kids.

I also like this program minisebran which is great for creativity. I was wondering if there was a way to make that the default screensaver instead of TK?

minisebran

So that's one question. Another is, do you know of any other kids' friendly interactive screensavers ? Is it possible to add a internet radiostation like groove salad at a very low adjustable volume (say 10% of current volume levels). This would then ideally be toggleable via the screensaver ...etc.

So the ideal situation would be like a dashboard/launchpad/app for kid related activities, and low ambient background music.

I saw this question and this one which answers one part of this question, but not the others (and I haven't tested it yet).

Sounds like you want a full screened program. Then just run a radio station in the background.... so long as you have your screensaver turned off it should stay like that. –  Griffin Apr 14 '13 at 17:12

However, after using a browser and such, the other program wouldn't come back online. Anyway to revert to that while idle? –  Vijay Apr 17 '13 at 12:46

Ohhhh that's what you want. Okay. Umm idk but now I understand what you could do. –  Griffin Apr 28 '13 at 15:05

Ok. I guess the question will still remain closed? –  Vijay Apr 29 '13 at 9:50

Yes but I do not understand why. Sometimes they can be really weird. –  Griffin May 3 '13 at 14:57
