I have just been upgraded to MS Access 2010, and am experiencing:

syntax error (missing operator) in query expression "xx"

Is this because all the tables were created in Access 2007, and Access 2010 uses different date formats?

I only get this error when I attempt to group dates using the drop down box (date filters).

Its entirely possible the error is because of the different date formats. Save the file as a legacy file format and see if that works. – Ramhound Apr 24 '13 at 20:16

Someone might be able to help if you provide the query expression. – Karan Apr 24 '13 at 22:11
