Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have some recorded audio files. I have two main cases:

  1. Person A speaking, and then Person B speaking.
  2. Person A speaking, then person B speaking and then person A speaking back again.

There is no overlap in speaking. It is always sequential.

I want to separate the recording of A and Recording of B from each file. I can do manually using a GUI interface but I have a few hundred files and it is a pain.

Is there an automatic way to do the same or any program or command line option to do ? Thanks for your input.
