I'm currently using CCleaner to deinstall my software.

What I need is an uninstaller that really scrubs out the install it's removing.

Anyone got some suggestions? Preferably open source or freeware.

Using Windows 7.

I have been using Revo Uninstaller and have been extremely satisfied with it. Revo Uninstaller is a freeware and even has a portable version. Try it out...

Revo is really good. It cleans deeply but doesn't always get all the folders. I'd recommend a quick sweep with Everything (voidtools.com) after, just to get any remaining folders (usually empty ones). – outsideblasts Oct 22 '09 at 16:04
No 64-bit version yet, though :( – CodeByMoonlight Oct 22 '09 at 16:18
Hopefully, we should have the 64-bit version in the near future :) – Alok Oct 22 '09 at 16:39

MyUninstaller - from Nirsoft is portable and freeware

ZSoft uninstaller - from ZSoft freeware

which does the better job.
