I have a Belkin SOHO KVM. I use a Microsoft Multimedia keyboard that includes 16 + 3 extra buttons along the top of the keyboard for "Multimedia" and other purposes. I also use a Microsoft 5 button mouse (Intellimouse Explorer). Everything worked together "out of the box", with no special configuration changes or drivers... just plug-and-play. –  Kevin Fegan Apr 29 '13 at 6:12

I had been using ConnecPRO UD-14+ to sharing Microsoft Multimedia keyboard and Logitech Unifying Receiver mouse without any problem since 2009. My connected systems are MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and ThinkPad X200s notebook. Recently, I just added one Windows 8.1 system to the KVM switch without any problem.
