I installed a Geforce fx 5200 PCI card that has dual VGA output on a Windows 7 64 bit system. Both monitors displayed but only as duplicates of the same display. Only one monitor showed up in the control panel, with no option to extend the display. The Nvidia website has no windows 7 drivers for this card, and I was unable to use a Vista driver. I used the automatic GPU-detection software on the Nvidia website and it said I had the most current driver installed. I believe it has 256 MB RAM, is that simply not enough to do this? I did run across this thread about using onboard video with a graphics card but this seems to deal mostly with PCIe interfaces.
So where do I begin on this problem before simply buying a new graphics card?
