I accidentally executed the following command in an important dir without knowing what the command does. Now I'm getting permission denied and not able to open the dir.

sudo chmod -R -rwx . 

Please help

You has deny all permissions. Just exec sudo chmod -R +rwx – slackmart May 1 '13 at 4:38
