I have heroku installed on my ubuntu 12.10. it works perfectly. I have a dual boot windows 8. I installed the heroku tool belt and when i try to clone my app to my local system, it is throwing an error.

everything works perfectly on ubuntu. why not on windows?

C:\Users\<uname>>git clone -o heroku 

Cloning into 'protected-inlet-5499'...

Permission denied (publickey). fatal: Could not read from remote repository. Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists.

I presume you have the private key that you used on the Ubuntu setup in your Windows boot as well? – Sathya May 2 '13 at 12:41
I don't think I have it. while first set up, heroku asked me to generate a key. Heroku in windows also asked the same but threw the same error as above. – S Sharma May 3 '13 at 9:31
