The location-aware printing in windows seems pretty trivial to set up: I have selected "change my default printer when I change networks" and associated the correct printer for each network, but it just never does anything - the default printer never changes unless I change it manually.

I have been using windows 7 for several years on different laptops, and I have just switched to windows 8, and this feature has never worked at all for me. Is there something really obscure I need to do to enable it? I don't have any fancy set up or locked down/group policy configuration; just an out-of-the-box vanilla windows installation on a Dell precision laptop, and networked printers on my two wireless networks, home and work.
