I'm running RHEL 6.1 on VMWare with TigerVNC server running.
I connect and login with both VMWare vSphere client and TigerVNC Viewer from Windows 7.
In both vSphere and TigerVNC Viewer I can open graphical applications like gedit and xterms and other graphical widgets like Display Preferences from the menus.
When I open Google Chrome, however, it will only display in the viewer that started the first instance of chrome. If I start Chrome from vSphere and then start another Chrome window from TigerVNC Viewer the new Chrome window opens in vSphere. The same thing happens if I start the first Chrome window from TigerVNC Viewer. Chrome seems to be the only application that does this. I can open other X-based applications in both vSphere and TigerVNC Viewer.
What do I have to do to get Chrome to open a new window in whatever viewer I start it from? I don't want to use a different Chrome user. I want all Chrome windows to use the same user (I'm logged in as the same user in both sessions) and synchronize with the same Google account.
