I'm saving a group of images/text in PowerPoint as a picture for a graduation announcement. When I open the png file after it's saved, the text of the name will not appear. I tried saving the text alone as a png and the png file is blank when opened. I have a MAC OS X. What can I do to get it to appear correctly?

Are the fonts used in the PowerPoint file embedded into the presentation? – Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 May 10 '13 at 15:45
I think it might have something to do with the text formatting. I have tried saving the text as a png image with different formatting and it appears ok. It's the "glow & soft edges" that throws it off. When I save the text group as a png image, it appears when there is not glow & soft edges added to the formatting. But when I add the glow and soft edges, the png file comes up blank. Perhaps it's a bug? – Dani May 10 '13 at 15:47
