I'm running an HP Mini notebook with Lubuntu 13.04.
I made a script that makes a text file with a list of nearest wifi signals, sends it to my Gmail account (with mutt) and then deletes the text file and the sent file. Here's a simple script:
#!/bin/bash cd ~ iwlist wlan0 scan > wifi.txt echo "nearest wifi" | mutt -s "wifi" firstname.lastname@example.org -a "wifi.txt" && rm -f sent && rm -f wifi.txt exit
I put it in /etc/network/if-up.d so it will run after I connect to any wireless network.
I made it executable, (with
chmod +x script.sh), and I can execute it manually just fine, but it doesn't run when connecting to a network like it should.
What am I doing wrong?
