Goal: To have audio playing from a central server that is outputted house wide.
Set up: 1 Headless, soundcardless server running Spotify, with a html controller (spotifycommander) so I can control it from any device.
Problems: My server is a HP Proliant Microserver running Ubuntu server. It has no sound card - I need a LINUX FRIENDLY method of passing audio via ethernet.
Assuming this is possible, I then need a(some) small device(s) that can receive audio over ethernet, and output into a speaker.*
*Raspberry Pi would be ideal, except the audio output is horrendous.
