Is there any software that can work in the following scenario.

Install a "playback" device that grabs audio from a program producing audio

For example:

I am streaming to Twitch.tv using OBS and I want that to record my microphone background music and game sound, now playing copyrighted music is fine on twitch due to it being creative and not making any money off it.

But I wish to upload the same video at a later date to youtube but can not do this due to youtube removing videos containing copyrighted music thus I wish to have the audio device only play sound from the game and my microphone so I can at a later date edit the recorded video and overwrite the sound so there is no music playing

So you are asking for a way to violate youtube's copyright policy? –  EBGreen May 22 '13 at 13:51

No I am asking if there is a way NOT to "...the audio device only play sound from the game and my microphone..." and "...edit the recorded video and overwrite the sound so there is no music playing..." but still have music playing on my stream via another audio device –  Jordan t May 22 '13 at 13:54

Aaah...I misunderstood. You are trying to avoid posting the music to youtube. –  EBGreen May 22 '13 at 14:05
