I have a rar archive that is split into 5 parts. The folder structure within the archive is "Folder/File".

In one archive the folder structure is "File". The folder is absent in the archive.

Is it possible to extract them?

Have you actually tried extracting it? – gronostaj May 27 '13 at 12:34

Yeah. It gave an error because one of the part's folder structure is different – Aravind Srivatsan May 27 '13 at 12:49

What if you try to modify that part and create the folder with the file inside? – silentw May 27 '13 at 13:51

I tried extracting that part using 7zip and then re-zipped it with a common folder structure as other parts. I get a checksum error when I did that. – Aravind Srivatsan May 27 '13 at 13:59

How will re-ZIPing help with a split RAR archive? How did this one part get corrupted anyway? I've never heard of any such selective corruption where the base folder disappeared from a single part of a split archive. – Karan May 27 '13 at 22:44
