Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Whenever I use Cisco AnyConnect, I get a popup saying:

A secure connection with this site cannot be verified. Would you still like to proceed? The certificate you are viewing does not match the name of the site you are trying to view.

And then I have the options Yes/No/View Certificate/More Info. View Certificate allows me to download the certificate and install it locally in the Windows Trusted Root Certification Authorities, which I did. However, it is still giving me this popup. In fact, I have put this certificate to all certificate folders.

What do I need to do in order to avoid this warning?

I would just remove AnyConnect since its been more or less discontinued but have you read this article? technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc754841.aspx –  Ramhound May 28 '13 at 11:43
