My laptop screen runs blank. I sent it to get fixed and it came back working okay for a day now it has broken again. I took it back and he said he was unsure, possibly motherboard or screen issue. Too much cost to spend on an old laptop.

Now I have reflowed the GPU myself and fiddled with RAM configurations and I can get the Laptop to boot up the Bios Menu on a HDMI external screen.

I would like to know anyone can use this information to shine some light on what I actually need to replace.

It boots up as I can hear windows sounds etc but blank screen. Safe mode wont run on either laptop or external screen. The only time I have had a display is if I press F10 to get the bios menu or when StartUp Repair came on and I could see that only on the external HDMI.

Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks
