I'm struggling setting up a cookieless domain. I've got lampp/apache installed on my https://example.com domain . I've also purchased another domain www.exstatic.com .

I want to serve all my images/js/css files from the exstatic.com without cookies.

Now how do i go ahead with this via DNS? Is it as simple as creating a CNAME record on the exstatic.com to point www.exstatic.com to example.com

Then when referencing an image.. i just reference www.exstatic.com/img/file.png

** I do use SSL if this makes any difference.

Im just not sure how it works.. do I also need to modify something in my apache .htaccess file or httpd.conf file?

Thanks
