I recently installed W8 Professional in my SAMSUNG ULTRABOOK. When I finished I executed Disk Management Tool to create a new partition and I saw that the SSD volume appears as "Unallocated". What happens if I create a volume on the SSD disk? Is this a good options, what happens with the disk caching? (sorry for my english!)

How much space was unallocated? Sometimes there is a very small amount of space that cannot be allocated, like 4 MB, or something inconsequential. Does your allocated space roughly match your actual HDD size? Like 128GB? – Ian McClellan Jun 3 '13 at 23:31
@IanMcClellan - it would be more like 119 GiB I think (if it was a 128 GB drive) – Carl B Jun 3 '13 at 23:51
