I have a client running Windows Live Photo Gallery on Windows 7. Two days ago, the behavior on her machine changed, and I can't seem to find how to restore it to what it was. I know it must be simple, so I hope someone knows the answer....

When using Windows explorer and double-clicking a .JPG, the photo opens in Photo Gallery as desired, with a button "Edit, organize, or share" in the upper left. The desired/the previous behavior was that when this button was clicked, a new window would open with just that photo in it, and the "Edit" ribbon was above it to allow editing.

Now, when that button is clicked, it goes into a folder view of a non-related directory and shows many thumbnails of images. It is like the "organize" mode of that button is initiated instead of "edit" as desired.
