I have a Regza TV and an external harddrive with eSATA connection. My PC has Windows 7 on it (but I can use Linux, BSD if necessary) Here is my question:

I initialized the HD after connecting it to my TV. This has formatted the whole drive some way but now I cannot see it in Windows. I would like to resize the Regza partition so I can use some of the drive to store other data. I have read this thread and think it is probably formatted with a BSD technology. Share HD between laptop and Panasonic TV

Does anyone know how to resize the partition or set up these partitions initially from a PC?

You can try GParted from Linux, but are you sure the TV will accept a smaller partition? –  Karan Jun 11 '13 at 15:43
