If I have several hosts that need to be served from a single debian box, is there a way to run separate lighttpd processes for each address:port?

Ideally what I am looking for is separate configurations, such that if I botch the config for 'mysite1.com:81', a separate lighttpd is still actively serving 'mysite2.com:80' with no interruption.

Permissions also come into play to some degree. The different ports should not share userID:groupID.

I think I may need multiple chrooted lighttpd locations, but I would like a confirmation or alternate suggestion.

Is there a way to simply duplicate the init.d scripts for lighttpd so that I can launch a separate daemon that will not "collide" with the others?
