my Linux doesn't show plugged usb devices... i can manually mount them but i don't want to do it every time i plug in a usb stick.

I am using KDE and few days ago there was a notification if i plugged a usb device in so i can easily open it with a explorer. But after i compiled libfuse and libntfs-3g myself there is no notification. I must manually mount them.

This is the log when i plug in a usb stick:

I reinstalled libfuse, libntfs, libmtp and so on but without any result. Also the dolphin explorer doesn't show the windows partition in the sidebar anymore...

what linux distro you use, what kde version? –  Fischer Jun 24 '13 at 10:46

I am using Pardus 2013 (based on Debian) with KDE 4.8 –  emyaz Jun 24 '13 at 11:01

Could it be that your wording is off? I think you mean "KDE does not automatically mount USB devices"? –  Bobby Jun 24 '13 at 11:23

@Bobby Sorry, but i don't get what are you mean. :( What is wording? –  emyaz Jun 26 '13 at 14:31

A few days ago I installed VirtualBox and the USB-Controller. Maybe this is the cause of the problem? –  emyaz Jun 26 '13 at 14:35
