I want to run a service in server startup. My service can run following command.

icegenerator -f /srv/airtime/icegenogg.cfg

I have no idea to use update-rc.d command to do that. What is the best way to add service as startup programme.

Please try a google search for "ubuntu add service", read a few of the 16 million pages that it finds, try some of the suggestions and post back here if you have specific problems. –  terdon Jun 24 '13 at 15:33
