Rohit, I have edited your question but it still is not very clear. What do you mean with 'lock'? Do you want to block software access, ordo you want to block physical access? – Jan Doggen Jun 25 '13 at 7:11

Still unclear: Do you want them to keep their fingers off, or do you want to block software access to these devices. Edit your question. – Jan Doggen Jun 25 '13 at 8:38
I believe its possible even in Windows XP to disable certain types of USB devices ( i.e. storage devices ) through group policy changes. – Ramhound Jun 25 '13 at 12:13
I think he wants to make it so that only that HDD can work in that USB port on the computer, and make it so that the computer will only accept the HDD on that USB port, if that clears it up. – user88311 Jun 25 '13 at 13:02
