I'm struggling to wrap my ahead around the tee/mtee command and redirection to fulfill the following goals:
- Send stdout and stderr BOTH to a separate file.
- Show ONLY stderr into the console.
The purpose of this is to capture a log of all activity in a long-running build-script, but monitor only errors that occur. I've gotten close with the following command:
build.bat 2>&1 | mtee/t/d/+ log.txt
However, this still shows stdout in the console. Is there a way to redirect both to file, but still only show stderr in the console?
