My desktop computer run Windows 8, with 2 GB of RAM installed. It gets really slow when I open few programs. Even when I close a running program it doesn't seem to recover its memory quickly and runs really slow for a log time.
I thought of running a Memory cleaner / optimization application to recover unwanted memory quickly. I Found a free tool Memory Cleaner from a Google search. It seems to work fine & reduces the memory load.
Does the available memory optimization tools recover & optimize the memory as expected? or is it better to let Windows manage memory itself?
