I have a problem with XAMPP. I can't access my site from an external pc, but I can access the welcome site "Welcome to XAMPP for Windows!", so if a friend types my IP he can access the XAMPP welcome page but if he types myIP/mysite he can't. If I copy all mysite content to htdocs, he gets an error to.

I'm running Windows 8, with Windows Defender and firewall off, and connected directly to a cable modem, with no router (Motorola sb5100 cable modem).

Another thing, mysite is a web made with Prestashop, so the problem maybe is related with permission, beacause if i create a simple test web with a "hello wolrd" index.html my friend can access myip/test and see the "hello wolrd" index.html, thanks. – Nicolás Jul 4 '13 at 6:51
Have you tried to grant Full Control to "Everyone" on Security tab in properties of that folder in htdocs? – mirkobrankovic Jul 4 '13 at 7:10
