I have a nerwork(10.1.2.0/24) where i connected OpenSSH server and OpenSSH client via a switch.
I am following this guide: http://bodhizazen.net/Tutorials/VPN-Over-SSH/
I can successfully ssh to the server from the client

When i bring up the tun0 interface via the command: sudo ifup tun0
I get the error message below:

root@theo62# ifup tun0
muxserver listen blind(): No such file or directory
Failed to bring up tun0.
root@theo62#

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

muxserver_listen is usually related to ControlMaster. What's your .ssh/config look like? – GnP Jul 10 '13 at 19:08

In my /etc/ssh, i have the following files: id_rsa,id_rsa.pub,ssh_config,sshd_config, etc.. which config can i display? – Irfaan Coonjah Jul 11 '13 at 8:27

in your case it would be ssh_config (the ssh client config file). You might as well include sshd_config just in case anyone deems it useful to help you. – GnP Jul 12 '13 at 0:00
