Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'd like to batch forward some emails to another account, but I'd have to read the emails first and then classify them manually either as a folder or a certain flag or a certain level of priority. i was hoping that rules can help, but a survey of the Mac Mail app, the Outlook.com interface, and the Msoft Outlook for Windows application, I realised that there is no rule that you can actually forward an email based on the fact that it is of a particular folder, particular priority or particular flag.

Is there a mail client out there that can do this? Or can I implement this by PHP?

I have to classify the items manually because no existing rule can help do that: if the email contains an invoice. It can be from any address.

Really great for suggestions, J
