Apparently the Acer M3-581TG supports some kind of caching using its 20GB internal SSD. I reformatted the hard drive to get rid of all the crapware it came with, and I can't seem to get this feature working again. I've installed Intel RST, but it doesn't seem to work. I've looked in the BIOS, and there is no option to enable SATA; it is locked to AHCI.

How can I restore this feature?

AHCI is the normal mode for a SATA controller. Check the Acer site. Besides Intel RST isn't something like ExpressCache required? – Karan Jul 14 '13 at 4:33

There doesn't seem to be any place to download ExpressCache from the Acer site. Their product download page only has Intel RST. – Sosumi Jul 14 '13 at 4:48
